The Loon Mountain Bridge replacement project is on track. The project originally called for construction throughout a full two year period. However, at this point contractor R.M. Piper is able to take a break this winter with completion of the project next fall. HEB is providing full-time resident engineering and recently used Dragonfly Aerials to do mid-construction overflight of the project. As you can see, the piers and abutments for the new bridge are nearly complete.
Placing the steel, the next major step, is scheduled for November/December. For more information, please contact Chris Fournier, Lead Structural Engineer, at firstname.lastname@example.org or (603) 356-6936.
