HEB Selected for River Street Culvert Replacement
HEB is working with the Town of Conway on the design and permitting of a replacement for the River Street culvert in East Conway, NH. The culvert, which directs drainage under River Street/ME Rte 113 into the Saco River, has a history of flooding and during a recent storm event failed completely. A temporary bailey bridge is currently installed. We have begun the preliminary conditions assessment by delineating the wetlands in the vicinity of the culvert and performing borings to determine the quality and consistency of the soils in the area. We will follow with field survey for base mapping and preliminary design activities for use in NH Department of Environmental Services permitting.
Design and construction documents are expected to be completed by the end of the summer. For more information about this project, contact Josh McAllister, PE, at (603) 356-6936 or firstname.lastname@example.org
